The School Council is made up of pupil representatives from year groups Reception to Year 6, Mrs Welch and representatives from the Board of Governors. Elections are held in October. Children campaign and are elected by their peers in a closed ballot.
The Council offers the children the opportunity to represent their classmates in expressing their opinions regarding school life, school environment and facilities, for example they were instrumental in the creation of the wildlife area, and improved wet play and lunch arrangements. School Council hold a variety of fundraising events throughout the year such as Book Aid International (World Book Day), Ebola and school projects.
