The School Parliament is made up of pupil representatives from year groups Reception to Year 6, the headteacher and representatives from the Board of Governors.
The Parliament includes Ministries for Sport, Environment, Library, Arts and Fundraising.
Elections are held in September for the Year 6 key positions of Ministry Leads, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. Children campaign and are elected by their peers in a closed ballot.
Some Members of Parliament are retained until mid-year to ensure smooth transitions of work from year to year.
The Parliament offers the children the opportunity to represent their classmates in expressing their opinions regarding school life, school environment and facilities.
